Dear Kelly - I am so sorry that your husband is having a rough week. How scary and worrisome to have the red blotchiness, stiffness and now a fever. It is just so difficult to stay positive and hopeful when our husbands or loved one is feeling worse. I am at that point this week too. However, I am trying to remember that Jason had rough before and then smooth times again. So let the smooth times start again.

Regarding your husbands fever, Jason had fevers in his 2nd and 3rd months of chemo. Then he took a one week break around the holiday and has not had them since. The fevers were very difficult for him and did leave him weak & understandably depressed. (Although they were scary for both of us, I tried to envisione the fever killing off the tumor) Here's to both our husbands feeling better tomorrow and I am thinking of you hugging your beautiful daughter!!
