I am so sorry David is having a bad time of it right now and especially with the pain. Regarding the patch, it turned out to be the best thing for my Husband once they got it regulated. He ended up going to 350 mg every 48 hours (he is 6 4' and hopefully still 200 lbs this week) so undoubtly David would not need as high a dose. However, once Jason was changed to every 48 hours instead of 72, he no longer needed any other pills for break through pain. And he stopped being so out of it. So higher dose may do the same for David. Sending you both good thoughts that his new treatment will arrest his PC. How wonderful it is for him to be able to be with you!. All the best. Darlene
