Rose, my dad has also had this problem off and on, (no whipple) and Senekot
plus a softener (he gets both by prescription, but you can get forms over the
counter) really helps him.
He also found red meat and white bread made constipation worse. Try to eat
foods that are less 'solid' (you probably are anyway due to your surgery),
like soups, applesauce, and mashed vegetables.....good luck, Lily.
