BOB


Bob(4/2/54) was diagnosed with metastatic (liver) pancreatic adenocarcinoma per frozen sections 2/28/05. He had a gastric resection and a common bile duct resection for bilirubin of 7. His CA19-9 was 2920. He was additionally diagnosed with mesenteric carcinomatosis with slightly elevated CEA & PSA - no specific tumors. Bob started Gemzar 3/31/05 with a CA 19-9 3936. On July 1 2003, Bob had had a 10 cm cyst on the pancreas erode. His additional diagnoses included chronic & acute pancreatitis. He had 1/3 of his stomach, the spleen & distal tail of the pancreas removed.He return to work in 6 weeks & was only on 81 mg Aspirin! Earlier detection: FBS 120 11/04 & 1/05 with Glycohgb 6.5 weight loss since 12/04 GI symptoms since 9/02 pancreatitis (not alcohol related) 7/04 I am his wife since 9/20/1980.
