The antidepressant that your husband is taking is called Remeron. I am currently on 15mg of Remeron as well as Wellbutrin XL (300mg daily). I was actually given the Remeron as an anti-anixety medication and the Wellbutrin XL as an antidepressant. I take the Wellbutrin in the morning and the Remeron at bedtime. When I first started taking the Remeron, I felt like I had no energy what so ever. And since I work full time, it was really hard to get up and go to work feeling like I did. For several weeks, I was virtually useless. I couldn't even do my daily running workouts. After a month or so, my energy level came back. If I were you, I might check to see if he can be cut back a little on the dosage. At least until his body gets use to the drug.
