Chris, I sincerely hope that your mother can receive the CyberKnife treatments and that her PC does not get out of control. Dick's CK treatments have done what they were supposed to do in killing the tumor. However, I think the lung mets are giving him problems now. He is so short of breath that he gets very discouraged whenever he tries to do anything. His legs and feet are very swollen, and the Lasix, while at first seeming to help, isn't really what we had hoped it would be. This morning Dick said that he didn't think he would be here very much longer. I told him he can't give up. He said he's not giving up, just being realistic. I don't want to be that realistic. I have to keep myself in an optimistic frame of mind in order to keep my sanity. I've cried enough tears to flood Lake Superior! But that really doesn't help either. Please, SOMEBODY, find a cure!

Love and prayers to you and your mother. God bless you. Love, Lois
