Peter, ...Its timely that you refer to it as a personal 9/11 because I was thinking the EXACT same thing last night to myself. I lost my father to Lung Cancer 6 years ago, and my mother was DX with PC on November 10, 2004. To me that will always be one of the worst days of my life. She was always so healthy and never spent a day in a hospital. Even now, her blood pressure and cholestorol are perfect. To have 2 parents that have gotten the 2 worst possible cancers one can get is, to me, unbearable. My mother's spirits are great, (she falls asleep at night without a problem), she lives her life as normal as possible, and has responded well to the GTX treatment (numbers are normal after 4 rounds). Unfortunately, I experienced 9/11 too closely, and now I am experiencing a family 9/11 which is extremely tough to bear. But we are holding up, and we are hoping for the best. We are going after the PC like it is Al Qaeda. We are playing to win. Wishing you the best.
