It will give you some of the answers you are looking for.When your mom gets her Gemzar try to tell them that you want the long infusion (not 30 min).I am geting Avastin but not on a trial. Your mom, I do not believe, has to be in a trial to get this combo. Outside of a trial they can be much more flexible with dosages and infusion times.Take that into consideration.Hopefully, your mom will do fine on the Gemzar alone as many others have even if it is not as agressive chemo as combos are.
