I have been reading and am curious if anyone else had anything such as this. My wife has lived most of her life with allergies and asthma, in the morning the last several years, she spent the first fifteen min's every day trying to cough up phlem to clear herself.....this was normal according to her doc from the allergies/asthma. A day or two after starting the Sandostatin shots, this went away for the most part and continues to be gone or very minimal. ( first time in years ) She has been DX'd with a non-functioning neuroendocrine cancer however, is it possible that she actually has a carcinoid tumor(s)??? I see that a rare symptom of carcinoid can be asthma-like. I am asking for ideas or thoughts as I feel I know just enough to be dangerous. Thoughts and prayers, Michael-PA
