My husband Art,was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Feb.21,2004. We were
told he was a candidate for the Whipple Procedure .He had the whipple done on
March 1st.,2004.He was diagnosed with a'sarcomatoid'pancreatic carcinoma. His
gallbladder, head of pancreas, portion of small bowel, lymph nodes were
removed, one third of his stomach were removed. He was working and never was
sick!prior to this.He worked in the Flexographic printing from 18yrs. to
59yrs. Is there anyone that has the same tye of cancer that has or is working
in the printing business ? He got most of the side effects after the
operation, but it is almost one year and now we are waiting for the CA19-9,
and on March 1st.2005 he gets his C.T.done.He is doing great so we are hoping
the cancer won't reoccur.I am Sharon, his wife and caregiver.
