Thank you for your reply. You were right. It did sound like a blood clot, and when we called the doctor they had her immediately come in to have it checked. They considered it serious as well. Thankfully, it appears to be irritation from the drug. They are talking about putting a port in. Is that what you have? You mentioned a central line - is that the same as a port? She doesn't really want a port as it feels invasive to her. I told her that at least with a port she could knit during her treatments. Knitting is her passion! Thank you so much for your input.
