When Mom's bilirubin goes up, she does jaundice. Sometimes she is almost
pumpkin colored, others she is summer squash but most of the time she has a
pale yellow tint. Since she is on Hospice, they are not monitoring her blood
levels anymore. Their main function is to keep her comfortable and to manage
pain (she hasn't had any high levels of pain yet).
