Your Dad is right, in a way, that radiation 'kills' liver, but he probably also knows that that is the way to kill cancer. If liver is hit hard, the cancer next to it is hit harder! Given a chance, liver can recover from radiation, so let's keep hope! It is from cancer that liver cannot recover. But from radiation - yes, it can. I wish so much that your Dad fights this one off!
