Oh lord, my own Mom went through that, she was walking with the walker, went slower...slower...she called me, she was getting weak, could not stand, as she fell it was like slow motion, I was under her. From that day she was in the hospital bed but oh, holding her, laying next to her helped, I did leave her alone to 'sort out' but did make sure she felt me near, we walked the walk together in so many ways, may you walk together, it takes the fear away...love...it never fails..
