My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March. He has had both radiation and chemo, however, his chemo has been interupted numerous times because his blood platelets fluctuate. The concern is if he does not get chemo, the cancer will take over his body. It has spread to his liver and lungs. A few questions:

He had a mild stroke two weeks ago due to blood clotting. Has anyone experienced this? He seems to be sleeping more and more. Is this a concern?

Can he get chemo even though his platelets are low?
