Thanks, your question is alot clearer to me now, even though I don't have any answers. I am glad your husband was fortunate enough to be able to have the whipple. Have you read some of the bios of the whipple people on this board? If not, please read about Lemonhead, Rainmaker, Derrill, Larry/Lec, Jane L. (that's all I can think of at the moment). When did your husband have the surgery? Did he have treatments? How was his recovery? Please share your story with us. Pat
