My husband and I married on the same date as my parents. This year was my
parents 54th. I invited everybody to my house that day as I didn't want my
daddy spending it alone. I invited my daddy's brother his children and etc.
I had over 50 people there. It was a Saturday this year so that helped.
I set up volley ball net, horse shoes, several in my family play instruments
so we had that and some singing and dancing. I cooked and everybody brought
dishes to go along. I got tables and chairs from the church. Oh we had a
nice time. We started around 10 AM as family began arriving and we went
until after dark. It was work but worth every minute. Daddy hugged around 9
and said thank you baby, you made today easy.
So I said all that to just say spend that time with your daddy. Hugs Lillie
