Hi Eve, I'm so sorry that you have found yourself here. My Mom was diagnosed in October of 2001. She passed away in January of 2002 from sepsis. She took xeloda- a pill form of chemotherapy. Gemzar is often used for pancreatic and other biliary cancers. This board is not too active for gallbladder cancer. Try positing on the following board: belonging to Cancer Support http://www.cancer-info.com/cgi-bin/boards/view.pl?board=gallInternational

The board called 'Lost Forum' is active with gallbladder cancer and their caregivers. We really have formed a strong support group where you can get really good suggestions. I got so frustrated with no one knowing anything, even the doctors. Let me know what I can do to help! God bless and hugs! Carole
