Roy was diagnoised with stage 4 PC with possible mets to liver and 2 lymph
nodes involved. This was Feb. 6th of 2004. We were told surgery was not an
option, sorry, he had only 6 to 8 months to live. We went to Moffitt in
Tampa, they were going to put him on Gemzar to possible prolong a short live.
We requested to be put in front of the tumor board. They chose 5 FU chemo,
24 hours a day with daily radiation for 6 weeks. This was a very difficult
treatment. He spent the next 5 weeks in bed, only to get out to go to Dr.s
appts. He did not give up. He fought even tho he was weak and sick. Now,
today is July 23rd. He has gained 17 pounds and his tumor markers are down
to 91. He has no visble sign of a tumor in his pancreas, his lymph nodes are
normal and the spots on his liver are just cysts. Through PRAYER and this
tx. he has become my miracle man. Do not let anyone tell you there is
nothing that can be done.
