Hi Renee. I just wanted to express my sympathy to you; I lost my Dad to pc last August, he was only 57. So I understand very well you not wanting her to give up. My Dad was on gemzar for several months; it did him a lot of good. In the end, the result WAS the same, but his condition improved a lot after three gemzar threatments. Before that, he felt very sick and was in a lot of pain. So maybe your Mom will feel a bit better after some treatments. On the other hand, it should of course be her decision. But I know that's very easy to say, and not so easy to accept. I wish you, and your Mom, very much strength. Christine.
