You may want to contact the "Cancer Treatment Centers of America" www.cancercenter.com. They have a nutritional approach along with traditional chemo and radiation. They may offer you some advice on what their nutritonal program is. My dad had gone there for a second opinion, and met with a Nutritional specialist, (she had a doctorate in nutrition) and used their regime along with chemo. I believe it kept him stronger for a longer period of time than he would have been without the extra nutrition. I don't understand all the ins & outs of how the chemo and nutritional things interact in the body at a cellular level, but I do think the general nutrtional knowledge of most Dr.s and nurses is pretty limited, and i think the importance of nutrition can be easily overlooked while they are dealing with the "big guns" of chemotherapy and radiation...personal opinion, and many may disagree with me---I wish you the best in dealing with all of these decisions, as well as this horrific disease. Marcie
