Pancreas Cancer Web
NEWLY DIAGNOSED
Hello, I am a 55yr old female who has recently had Whipples Procedure for
Bile duct & pancreatic cancer. I was fortunate to be diagnosed early enough
due to a severe dose of pancreatitis and turning a ghastly shade of yellow!!
As I am only 3 months post surgery I am still at the stage of anxiety that
the cancer has not been cured really and would truly value anyone who could
help me to 'move forward'even though I have been assured by the biopsy
results that the tumour was fully excised with clear margins and no lymphnode
involvement.
I am also still experiencing a continuing abdominal discomfort which I may
well need to have checked out but wonder if this is a common experience?
Love to hear from anyone who may have some answers for me, please.
