Thank you St. Gerard for your response. Yes- the word remission makes people think - wow! it's over. We know it's not, but we also know that we really don't know anything. In Mom's case we really don't know the extent of her tumor to date. Her liver is enlarged but her liver enzymes are all normal so that usally indicates her liver is going on about its business (very important business) without metastasis at this point. She could have mets other places - colon, lungs - who knows - but because they are not really looking... then we just accept the good news -the cancer is quiet. Mom has been such a trooper. She is so loved and loving -somehow I just think all of it has kept her alive. Love, Me
