e.b's father was 79 when he had the whipple at JH with Dr. Yeo - he did just fine - recuperated very smoothly from the surgery and all - lived quite well for about 2 years after the surgery with NO recurrence - he did die, but of something unrelated to pc.

My own parent had a really good quality of life post whipple - till recurrence - quality of life depends more on general health of the patient and skill of surgeon than age -
