I am only 63 but did have the whipple columbia presperian hosp nyc..,ca met to liver and lymph nodes.was given 4 mo. My quality of life has been great (of course I have problems) but it is almost 2 yrs. ON the other hand my husband 67 had the whipple(westchester med center ) but they had to stop tumor wrapped around main blood vessel.He lived 9 month,very bad months. 2 cases diffrent outcome but as most ppl on this board state if you qualify this is your only chance for a longer survial rate. My prayers go out to you
