I am so sorry about your father. I wondered if I could ask you what the complications were in the second week. My mother just had whipple surgery on Monday and the Dr. says she is recovering well so far, although she has been running a fever, I am not sure if that is normal. She choose to stay in our area (Alaska) and have the surgery at a 'low volume' hospital.
