I have been reading the posts for a few weeks since my grandfather was diagnosed with PC. He lives in another state, so I only know what my family has told me(I am going to visit the end of this month). I was told that his tumor had grown from 5 cm to almost double in one month. He is losing about a pound a day. They can't operate and he opted not to do chemo. The dr. told my family to call hospice. I'm not sure what that means. I do know that he still gets up in the morning and does his usual routine as it was pre-diagnosis. But he is weak and can't eat. How long do you think he has? He is only on morphine, and taking essiac tea?
