I know it is a fine line, I mean these are your parents we are to respect their decisions... The best you can do is supply them with the information that you can find, and let them do with it what they want.. It all around stinks.. Let your dad be happy for awhile, enjoy his life as best he can..

If it were me doing it again, I would hope my mom would of continued on the gemzar, maybe not every week, but at least once a month to keep it at bay since it was working for her... I hope they find something to work for your dad...

BTW the thing I miss the most about mom is her voice... Since your dad is still talking consider haveing him tape his voice, maybe some memoirs to pass along to generations, or just for you to feel closer to him later... I hope that wasnt too blunt, but I wish I had done that with mom... Tears... Good luck
