My mom has had a feeding tube put directly into her stomach, since they were not even sure if bypass would work. Apparently her non-resectable tumor is paralyzing the nerves of the stomach. We have yet to meet with rad or med. oncologist for proposed treatment. Anyone had any exp. with the feeding tube. I don't know how much more we can put her through. She really doesn't want to do chemo, she was in the middle of a course of chemo when the p/c was diagnosed. Her surg. said chemo to start to sensitize the cancer cells and then radiation. I am thinking radiation, cyberknife and possible the OGF trial if we can get in. Please, if anyone has any advice while we are evaluating. Thanks.
