Remission is not accurate. I'm sorry your doc said this. Perhaps a more correct term is 'partial remission'. My husband experience 'partial remission' after several rounds of chemo--tumors were smaller, tumor marker count was way down. Remission is no sign of cancer for an extended period of time. I am talking about years. A cure is no sign of cancer for 5 years. I think my figures are correct--or pretty close. I would get a 2nd opinion. Sandy
