I too am puzzled by what you say. By one round of chemo does that mean just one month? I would never have thought they could tell anything after just one month. However I also wouldn't expect them to be doing a CT scan more frequently than every 3 months ie after 2or 3 cycles of chemo. You definitely need more info. Was your father's CA19-9 high when he was first diagnosed? If not I don't know what they would be going by.
