Remission is not a word that has been associated with PC, and to use that word is inappropriate and irresponsible. Also... without a CT scan, you can't with any certainty know exactly what is happening with the tumor. Blood tests are not totally accurate on their own.

You are right to assume tht they meant the tumor is stable... and even possibly shrinking. But the word 'remission' is not one that has ever been used in describing PC -- and I've been on this board for over five years.

You need a doctor with an understanding of PC -- so a second opinion is definitely in order.
