Stage 4 with lymph node involvement. Dx. in Feb. Was told 6 to 12 months to live. Went with 5 FU infusion with radiation for 5 weeks. Really has zapped my husband. Vein involvemnt. If tumor shrinks enough will perform Whipple. Trying to prepare myself for one of the many IF's. If can't perform Whipple, what is the best treatment out there? Did we mess up by having radiation? Heard so many negatives against this. I know you can't answer all questions with 100%, but would love any advice. Lots of pressure from husband's mother, scared and alone. Don't have anyone to really talk to, my best friend is the one with this disease. He is all I have had and I can't let him know how scared I am. Thanks!
