My mother-in law was just diagnosed. She is 75 and the stage is 3 or 4. We're told because of the size and location of the tumor that surgery is not an option. The Doctor met with the family today and discussed options for treatment. Chemo, radiation & chemo or basically a pain management program through Hospice. His reccomendation being the last. My father died 20 years ago from lung cancer and the chemo/radiation took its toll. What are people finding the most success with, realizing fully that it is the individuals decision ultimately.
