During his last weekend my husband was not producing any urine. I don't recall what the deal was with that once they put in a catheter. He did have brown urine all along from the pc though. (Bilirubin issue I guess). I also signed a DNR...very tough thing to do when someone you love is only 43, but the way the doctors explained it is if they get to that point, all resuscitating will do is make the end of his life violent. Better to let someone peacefully pass on than to keep reviving their heart when all other organs are failing. The fact that your relative's blood pressure is not low sounds positive to me...but I'm certainly not a doctor. Again I wish you the best.
