No, I didn't mean Ativan. Avastin is a monoclonal antibody just approved by the FDA for colon cancer. It is made by Genentech. The FDA did not specifically exclude Avastin from being used for other cancers and I think clinical trials have been done with it for pancreatic cancer. It is not a cure, but it may extend someone's life for a few months or so.
