Hi Deb Sorry I haven't responded to your reply but a storm took out my computer but I am back and in touch. Basically when I was diagnosed the doctors thought I had Hepetitis because I was jaundice. Prior to this happening I was working 54 hours a week, had just moved house by 2weeks and was running a household with one husband and three children. So I guess it was expected that I should be feeling alittle run down and lethargic. As women particularly tend to do I ignored these symptoms and kept on trudging through my days until my boss noticed that the whites of my eyes were not so white but a delightful shade of yellow. She ordered me to the doctor and as I said we all suspected Hepetitis but when the blood tests returned negative the doctor was at a loss and so sent me for an ultra sound. Also at the time without realizing it was a symptom I had back pains which kind of felt like my back was out or a muscle was really tender but of course I put that down to hurting myself in the move. A shadow was discovered in the pancreas but it could not be identified clearly so I was then off for a ct scan which clearly showed a mass at the head of my pancreas. An appointment was made with the specialist who basically told me that a mass was more than likely cancer but until it was removed and tested there was no telling for sure. Hence a week and a half later I was in for an 8 hour wipples. 3 weeks later I was home and the ball has been rolling ever since. So that is my little diddy and I am now feeling great and just hope that through my fortune and well being through this ordeal I may be able to assist others especially those who are around my age. Thank you for responding Jennifer
