Alan, sorry to hear about your wife's lung situation and your dad's decline.

I don't know what to tell you in terms of what your wife should try. As I mentioned before on this board, my dad is taking an expirimental drug - an mTor inhibitor. We don't know if it's helping. His first dose left him with horrible mouth sores. He has about 3 weeks left on this drug to see if it has helped with anything.

By the way, my dad's cancer has metasticized to his lungs now, so he's battling that as well.

I'll let you know how it goes. Our oncologist told us that there really isn't anything good out there that will immobilize this cancer, so who knows. Right now my dad is trying anything. The Doctor said that if there is no improvement after this trial drug, he will try something else on my dad, so we'll see.

Hope you find some answers soon, and hope your wife is able to try something else.

Take care, Renee
