I found all the postings very interesting on this issue I raised. Like all of you, I find all the information wonderful, and am forever greatful to JHU and those responsible. Dr. Hruban's asked the reasonble question, what suggestions would any of us have for alternatives? I can't argue with need for a separate Bio page, and a separate fund raiser page. Perhaps the one page that seems most overlapping is the regular chat room and Heather's page. Basically because Heather's page is very useful and good. Thus, what happens is that some interesting social/ medical/ psychological info gets posted on that page, that also would be interesting to share will all those who monitor only this page. I don't want to exaggerate the problem: it works okay now, and can continue to go along this way without any major problem. However, in the spirit of Dr. Hruban's challenge, another suggestion would be to have a set "real time" chat with Heather (such as the AOL-type chat rooms) that is noted in advance (example: Every Friday at 6 pm (EST) for an hour). The dialoge that occurred for that hour would be posted for a week to be replaced with the following friday's real-time chat dialoge. This would allow all of us to catch up with Heather's great information. Heather could also occasionally visit us in the regular chat room as she used to do. Anyway a suggestion. The status quo is not necessarily a bad thing. Any reactions?
