Hi David, yes you had the right Cindy... sorry it's taken me a whileto reply. My dad had an appt. a couple of weeks ago. We know he is eligible for the trial, but they hadn't yet received government approval to start the study. I just spoke to Laura yesterday, she said they have rec'd approval, so they'll probably want to see my dad again maybe next week. Someone's supposed to be calling us back. Problem is the trial is randomized between 5FU and 9NC. My dad says if he randomized to the 5FU he won't do it. I'm not sure he will even if he's randomized to the 9NC. He still is doing really well on the Gemzar. He says he feels great. He gets occassional back pain, but not enough to take pain killers. His ca19-9 continues to climb, but very slowly. He's got another scan scheduled, so I guess depending on whay that shows we'll decide whether to try the trial. Good luck to you. Cindy (I'll let you know if we do start the trial)
