Mel, that's so good to hear and every time I read about Lou at 2-1/2 years it gives me some hope. How did Lou tolerate his treatments? And did he have the Xeloda every day of radiation through the entire cycle? Bob's is just first 5 days and last 5 days and I have no idea what the reason for that is and will ask on Friday when we see the oncologist.

Also, we're going to a pancreatic specialist, Barbara Burtness, at Yale on Wednesday. I think you're the one who posted that you went to the PanCAN event and she was a speaker and you heard good things. Bob's just started feeling sick since tx began last week and he lost 3 pounds. To that point, he hadn't lost any weight at all in almost 7 months and had pain but felt okay. Well, I guess we're off to the races! Thanks for your words, Mel.
