Yes, we did have a good Thanksgiving. My sister bought a beautiful grave blanket and we took it up to the cemetary (about 6ft long, 3ft wide, done in greenery, with blue ribbons, flowers and pine cones-Mom used to make pine cone decorations). Then, my sister got out of work and we all went to her house. It ended up being a good day.

I so understand about friends backing away. I held my Mom in my arms one day when she was so upset that her best friends didn't come or call. I have been finding out that they just couldn't stand seeing her that way, didn't really know what to say to her and wanted to remember her the way she was. I do know and understand how much that hurts both Pat and you. But you need the support. I'm sorry Pat is doing so poorly. I remember those days, and my heart aches for you. I wish there were something I could say or do to make things better. It's in God's hands and we just have to trust him.

I will be thinking and praying for you all. Sending love
