We have a hospice nurse that comes in and a district nurse that comes in cause my mum still has an open wound from her operation 2 years ago. The hospice nurse is excellent but her time is limited. She has so many patients to see that we only get a small amount of her time, which I understand - any time is better than none at all.
My mum has been upset today because she thinks we are going to put her in a hospice - this is definately what she doesn't want. And we will not admit her to one if this is her wish. She seems a bit settled now tonight after us reassuring her that this will not happen.
Thanks again for your caring thoughts.
Love and prayers
