Dear Marcio, my experience with adenocarcinoma is very limited. My mother has just started treatment for an unresectable tumor. From what the surgeon told us, much depends if all the cancerous tissue was removed during the operation. She will have to get follow-up CT scans along with blood tests for the CA19-9 cancer marker and liver function tests for many years to come to make sure the cancer has not returned.

Good luck, hope all goes well for you.
