Karin, I'm speachless you have written you story so well that I feel all your
pain and helplessness. I know some drugs are different in the UK then here.
For constipation we found the senokot S worked best it is an over the counter
drug here. The confusion could be caused by the toxins from the liver
shutting down, but other things can cause it as well, with dad we found when
he went without sleep any length of time he also would have confusion but you
did say your mama was sleeping. My mama shakes with her hands as well and we
learned it was a side effect of her thyroid medicine. Its so hard for you to
be a caregiver to both parents and I hope you are able to have a break for
yourself as well each day, even if its just 10 minutes for Karin.
My best friend lives in the UK. I know I won't spell this right but maybe I
can get it close enough that you'll know where...she lives across the river
Mercy from Liverpool in Birkenhead on the Whiddle. I visited her last May
and had the best time. We went to Whales and stayed at a little bed and
breakfast. She is a 7 year whipple survivor.
As for relatives, you can always say now is not a good time to visit if you
would prefer them not to come. Just remember you can call the shots. Hugs
