Pattie: you must mean 2.5 mg and later 1.5 mg. It's according to surface area of the body (weightxheight). My surface area is 1.7 so the onc figured my dosage at 2.5 mg/day. Yes, I take it 5 days and then have 2 days off. I asked if I could slacken off on the water during the days off. Of course they said no, because the drug is still in your system for 48 hrs (supposedly). I can manage the 12 cups and drink 1 cup of something every hour after getting up. The 12 cups are a flat amount whether you weigh 200 lbs or 100 lbs, so I'm sure you can fudge a little bit. But the reprecussions are not fun if you don't drink enough. Is your Mom still getting the drug from Stehlin? I wonder how many people they're maintaining since they've sold the drug to Supergen. Thanks for your note.
