Dear Ray, You know your Dad and must rely on your own intuition regarding how much information is too much. When my Mom was battling this disease, I would follow the doc into the hall if I had a question that I felt would upset her to know the answer. At one time she did accuse me of knowing more than I let on, but I felt that if she was given a "time limit" she would feel that that was all she had and would have given up. A positive attitude is so important to fight the cancer, and no one knows for sure how long you have on this earth. Copy any message of hope you find on this board and show them to your Dad. He knows how serious and terminal this disease is so there is no point in dwelling on that aspect of it. Prepare yourself for the worse so you will be prepared to handle things as they come. Hope this helps you. Carol S
