Thank you all for such timely and thoughtful advice. My gut has been telling me all along that I should tell him directly, succinctly and sensitively about what I am learning re pc. He's one smart cookie and if I were in his shoes, I'd want to know and when I had enough info, then I'd tell you so. If I balance our conversations with some "sound checks" now and then, maybe we'll wade through this with a little more comfort. Knowledge is power, so they say, and I want Dad to be able to direct his stamina toward the challenges with that foundation. Again, thank you so much for your advice. We're off to the oncology consultation tomorrow and this has really helped me get a slightly tighter grip on how to "get set" in the starting blocks before we blast off into the unknown. God Bless!
