It takes a lot of tears to make it through some days. Prayers for all of you. Have you used anything besides compazine for the nausea? Compazine gel worked quickly (rub on wrist) and is short-acting, but it helps until longer acting meds kick in. Zofran is good--give it before the nausea hits--may have to use around the clock until the nausea is under control. If pain control is a problem ask the doctor to order something else. There are so many pain meds and combinations. NO ONE should be in pain. Please rest, remember to eat, and know many others are thinking of you.
