Thank you all for the warm welcome and support! I have carefully read and will consider all your advice. I understand that I shouldn't blame the x-ray specialists too much but to me it still seems strange that they were not using the higher resolution in the first scan. But anyway I was more lucky than those who waited for years for the right diagnosis.

I hope the surgeons here in Sweden are not less good than Hopkins and the others in US. I will of course ask if Whipple surgery is what they use here.

Panzer, I am sorry to hear your husband got PC at age as low as 37. I am 49 and I was told the disease is most common in ages 60 to 70.
